Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Adhere to all safety policies and company driving standards.
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining a professional appearance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or eligibility for training).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record (no more than one preventable accident in 3 years).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new routes.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
