Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to designated delivery locations in and around Omaha.
- Practice defensive driving techniques and adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and ensuring accurate deliveries.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Handle delivery paperwork, including scanning signatures and maintaining digital logs.
- Manage loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring items are secured and undamaged.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License required (Class C or higher).
- Must be at least 21 years of age for liability reasons.
- Ability to pass a background check and a drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and tracking routes.
- Reliable transportation to and from the local terminal.
