Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver cargo on time and in pristine condition. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance. Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods. Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and issues. Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations.
Qualifications
Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required (Entry Level Training Program available). Current DOT medical card and valid driver's license. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Willingness to learn and adapt to new routes and safety protocols. Physically able to perform loading duties and sit for extended periods.
