Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial truck to deliver goods to designated customers within the Philadelphia area and surrounding regions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Load and unload cargo securely using appropriate equipment (forklifts, straps, etc.).
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Previous driving experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
