Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on local and regional delivery routes within the greater Los Angeles area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution is correct for safe transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers, receivers, and the public.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and report any vehicle maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) through our sponsored training program.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong work ethic, time management skills, and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends if required.
