Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport goods safely to designated destinations in the Boston metro area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and identify potential issues.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to all safety protocols and weight regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules, route changes, and delivery confirmations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety regulations, and Department of Transportation (DOT) standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class B or CDL preferred, but not required for our entry-level trainee program).
- Ability to pass a background check and a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen.
- Willingness to undergo company-sponsored training program and obtain necessary certifications.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods during the workday.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate using GPS and maps.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
