Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement according to safety regulations.
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized at all times.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures to minimize risk.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (or willingness to obtain one through our sponsor program).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferred) or a strong high school diploma with relevant endorsements.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and a background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and communication.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (or willingness to obtain one through our sponsor program).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
