Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of freight to designated customers.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain accurate records using electronic logging devices (ELD) at all times.
- Assist in the safe loading and unloading of cargo.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies regarding driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to obtain one immediately.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and mandatory drug screenings.
- Strong commitment to safety, time management, and professional conduct.
- Willingness to undergo paid training programs for new drivers.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
