Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with assistance when required
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Deliver shipments on time and in optimal condition
- Report maintenance issues and perform basic upkeep
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license or ability to obtain one
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and safety standards
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules and overnight trips
- High school diploma or equivalent required
