Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Adhere to all federal DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance driving skills and safety awareness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain through our training program
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety-first practices
- Basic math skills for load verification and documentation
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Willingness to travel overnight as needed for delivery routes
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
