Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over various terrains and distances.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records.
- Secure cargo and ensure timely delivery at designated locations.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) required.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices.
- Basic reading and math skills for trip planning.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to company procedures.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
