Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van or refrigerated) in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system (ELD)
- Adapt to dynamic routes across California and Western States
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Uphold strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL permit (training provided if needed)
- Minimum 21 years old with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for ELD systems
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and climb equipment
- No DUIs or major violations in past 3 years
