Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely while adhering to FMCSA regulations
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and in perfect condition
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and route conditions
- Secure cargo using proper loading/unloading techniques
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
- Represent MegaHaul Logistics professionally with all clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer ladders
- Basic navigation skills and smartphone proficiency
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Must be 21+ years old
