Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on long-haul routes to California and regional destinations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Uphold a professional image and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
- Adhere to all FMCSA and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Willingness to travel and work long-haul routes to California.
- Basic English proficiency for communication purposes.
