Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secure and undamaged.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and logbooks, accurately and on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred (Entry Level candidates considered with valid CDL).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 3 minor violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
