Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight on assigned routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading coordination at distribution centers
- Report mechanical issues and perform basic preventative maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license or ability to obtain one through our training program
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
