Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight across Michigan and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Driver's License (CDL training provided)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
