Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport goods within San Diego County and surrounding regions
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device records
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage delivery schedules and time-sensitive routes efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid California Class A CDL or ability to obtain through our training program
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for load verification
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to complete paid company training program
