Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within Ohio and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient route planning and delivery schedules
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional weekends
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored CDL training
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
