Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between distribution centers and client locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route changes and delivery updates
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments when necessary
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class A or B preferred, training provided for eligible candidates)
- No commercial driving experience required – we train motivated individuals
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Clean driving record (minor violations may be considered)
