Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across New York metropolitan area
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsMaintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
- Report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's Permit (CDL)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- No experience required - we provide paid training!
