Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks on various job sites, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Load and unload materials (sand, gravel, asphalt, demolition debris) using forklifts or manual labor as required.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding delivery schedules and site conditions.
- Keep the truck cab and equipment clean and organized at all times.
- Report any vehicle damage or maintenance issues immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a Dump Truck Driver.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Familiarity with standard construction equipment and safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in various weather conditions.
