Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely and professional manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, resolving any delivery issues or questions.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized inside and out.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or Commercial License preferred but not required for entry-level).
- Achieve and maintain a satisfactory MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for navigation and logging.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
