Job Overview:
As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of SwiftLogistics, ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition. We value safety, punctuality, and a positive attitude above all else.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Houston metro area.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any delivery issues with care.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable delivery vehicle.
- Accurately process paperwork and digital delivery confirmations.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes using GPS.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for logging deliveries and communications.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
