Responsibilities
- Safe Transit: Deliver packages to residential and commercial clients in a timely and safe manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and resolving delivery issues courteously.
- Vehicle Care: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean and mechanically sound.
- Package Handling: Safely load, unload, and organize packages to ensure order and prevent damage.
- Route Management: Utilize GPS and digital tools to optimize delivery routes and manage time effectively.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and any incidents that may occur during the shift.
Qualifications
- Valid License: A current, valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact positively with diverse customers.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Technology: Comfort with using a smartphone for navigation and digital logging.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours including weekends.
