Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages to residential and commercial locations
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS technology to meet tight deadlines
- Verify package details and obtain customer signatures upon delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any discrepancies or issues
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Reliable transportation to and from depot (5:30 AM start)
- No prior delivery experience required - full training provided
