Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently on San Diego/California routes
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and customer communication
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Optimize routes for maximum profitability and on-time delivery
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage freight loading/unloading with proper securing techniques
- Utilize provided dispatch app for real-time load tracking and updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of San Diego geography and CA highways
- Reliable personal box truck (2020+ model preferred)
- Commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
