Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated freight routes across the western US
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Utilize advanced GPS tracking systems for real-time route optimization and communication
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with dedicated customers through consistent, reliable service
- Document all delivery activities and maintain electronic logbooks with precision
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience with dedicated or regional routes
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and GPS navigation systems
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and safety compliance
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills for independent decision-making
- Ability to work independently while maintaining proactive communication with dispatch
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
