Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26 ft) for local/regional deliveries in Greensboro and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspections, and compliance with DOT regulations
- Manage loading/unloading processes with efficiency and care for freight
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Optimize routes using provided GPS systems to maximize daily mileage
- Represent Prime Transport Solutions with professional conduct and appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience or equivalent commercial driving history
- Reliable 24-26 ft box truck in excellent mechanical condition
- Proof of commercial insurance (liability $1M, cargo coverage)
- Smartphone with reliable data for communication and dispatch apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and customer service skills
