Responsibilities
- Safely operate your box truck to deliver freight to designated locations in Phoenix metro and surrounding areas
- Manage all aspects of your delivery business including route planning, scheduling, and customer communication
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and vehicle maintenance documentation
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for load assignments and real-time delivery updates
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to guarantee roadworthiness
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Proof of commercial auto insurance and DOT medical certification
- Minimum 2 years of box truck or heavy-duty driving experience
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) with current registration and inspection
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication and delivery apps
