Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and organize cargo for optimal efficiency
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery irregularities promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with Austin area
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work early morning, evening, or weekend shifts as needed
