Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) to transport cargo safely and efficiently across the United States.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured properly to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT logbook) and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Must have a valid Social Security Card and good standing in the MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if required.
