Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to customers across the region in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition and document findings accurately.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B (Class A preferred for this position).
- A clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic math skills and ability to read maps and GPS devices.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
