Job Summary
As an Entry Level Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the United States. You will ensure cargo is loaded and unloaded securely and maintain your vehicle in excellent condition. We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious individuals to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or Class B) to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and adhere to all FMCSA and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential issues.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driverβs License (CDL) required.
- Absolutely no DUI/DWI violations within the last 5 years (motor vehicle record check required).
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to undergo company-sponsored training if new to the industry.
