Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers over various road conditions and terrains.
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time, every time.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs.
- Unload freight using appropriate equipment and maintain a professional appearance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required (or eligible to obtain).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
