Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across Louisiana and regional routes
- Inspect and maintain assigned trucks to ensure DOT compliance
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route planning
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation per FMCSA regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle safety inspections
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including nights/weekends
- Willingness to obtain Hazmat endorsement (training provided)
