Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers) to transport goods on assigned routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as per DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
- Report mechanical issues or road hazards promptly to maintenance team
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights/weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
