Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards
- Assist with loading/unloading when required for expedited deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
- Strong knowledge of Indiana/Illinois road networks and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various weather conditions
