Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) following all DOT regulations and company policies
- Perform pre-trip inspections, maintenance checks, and post-trip documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper securement techniques for diverse freight types
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 6 months verifiable driving experience OR recent CDL graduate
- Clean MVR record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation and freight verification
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
