Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across North Carolina and Virginia
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Handle loading/unloading procedures with care
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or enrolled in CDL training program)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and safety procedures
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Physical ability to handle cargo (up to 50 lbs)
- Willingness to travel within NC and VA
