Responsibilities
- Complete state-approved CDL training program under certified instructors
- Safely operate commercial vehicles once licensed (dry van and flatbed)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Deliver freight to regional destinations on established routes
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Willingness to obtain Class A CDL through company training
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb into/out of truck cabs
- Flexibility for early mornings and some weekend shifts
