Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes in Colorado and surrounding states
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation according to DOT regulations
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading operations and at delivery points
- Adapt to changing schedules and route conditions while maintaining on-time delivery performance
- Participate in ongoing safety training and company compliance programs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route status and potential delays
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to obtain Class A CDL license (training provided for qualified candidates)
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and delivery documentation
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb into/out of truck cabs
- Must be 21 years of age or older
