Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across assigned routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Build positive relationships with clients and dispatch teams
- Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training
- Support team members during peak delivery periods
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or willingness to obtain one)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle maintenance
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
