Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across Georgia and regional routes
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold professional customer service standards
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Secure cargo properly and handle unloading when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Georgia roadways and transportation regulations
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Reliable transportation to reporting location
