Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers, box trucks) across San Diego and regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate trip logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load management and delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery/pickup interactions
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of San Diego/California roadways and traffic patterns
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for on-time deliveries
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle troubleshooting
