Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout San Diego County and surrounding regions
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Manage delivery schedules with precision and timeliness
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or willingness to obtain with company sponsorship)
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and safety standards
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Clean driving record with no major violations
