Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while representing our brand on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a commercial truck.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
