Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate electronic logging system compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal routing efficiency
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Knowledge of Washington DC/MD/VA traffic regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
