Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or Class B commercial trucks to deliver freight on time and within budget.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure placement and proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery details.
- Adhere to all safety policies and company procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle adjustments.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as required.
