Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles over long distances while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and secure cargo according to safety standards
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and maintenance teams
- Navigate routes efficiently while maintaining on-time delivery schedules
- Document all delivery paperwork and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- No prior experience necessary - comprehensive training provided
- Must be a US citizen or have legal authorization to work in the US
